This Kerry Coast bike ride takes you through some of the county's most outstanding scenery around the Ring of Kerry from Killarney. It is enhanced by the influence of both ancient folklore and local traditions. You’ll begin your cycle along the banks of the river Laune and continue through the beautiful district of Caragh Lake to the seaside resort of Glenbeigh, which boasts miles of golden sands and rolling waves. The next stage provides panoramic views of Dingle Bay and the island studded Atlantic ocean, passing through the market town of Caherciveen and onto the small picturesque fishing village of Portmagee. You’ll cycle around Valentia Island with its unique scenic beauty and tropical vegetation en-route to Waterville, your longest cycle day as you cycle through the Coomakista Pass with great views of Kenmare and the Atlantic Ocean. You can stop for lunch in Derrynane House (the home of Daniel O'Connell, the Irish Liberator) and then it's on to the award winning village of Sneem. The final day’s route continues inland to Molls Gap and through Killarney National Park, to finish back at Killarney Town. This is a cycle trip you will never forget!

You are free to choose your own routes between the accommodations, and you have the service of the luggage transfer van (a phone call away) to back you up if things go wrong. The average daily cycling distance is a comfortable 28 - 31 miles (45 - 49km). The tour starts and finishes in the beautiful town of Killarney, where we kit you out with your bike. Your overnight hosts will advise on local pubs and restaurants for your evening meals.

This tour is operated by Go Visit Ireland from County Kerry in Ireland.

Hi Richard,
I just wanted to let you know that we are back home and enjoyed ourtrip very much! Phillip was quite nice and took good care of us-He was on the downhill side of the Moorfoot Hills and it was a treat to see a friendly face.
We saw him early on the last transfer day because he was getting an early start home as his wife went into the hospital-I hope she is well, please send him our regards.

I also want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Duncan House-the room was so lovely and Jeff was an outstanding host. I was extremely impressed with the extra effort he put into making our stay comfortable.

My husband had never done a cycle tour before, and he is sold-we will definitely travel that way again and he is already talking about the Highlands!

If you want more of a review or would like me to post one on a website, please let me know, Thanks for making all the arrangements for us,
Karen and Eli, Leyons, Colarado, USA.
