From Winchcombe there are a number of circular rides for you to choose from, varying in distance and difficulty. On the final day you head back on a completely different route though quaint villages and larger towns of Stow-on-the-Wolds and Moreton-in-Marsh. SECOND DAYS CYCLE RIDE: A 14 miles (23km) circular ride called Secret Cotswolds. This is a hilly route that takes you through some of the quieter Cotswolds villages, such as Hailes with its Cistercian Abbey. As this is only a short ride it gives plenty of time to enjoy the many attractions and spectacular views you will encounter, and after the ride exploring the ancient town of Winchcombe. The village of Brockhampton is your last chance for a lunch on this ride unless you have packed one, because the route takes you deep into the Cotswold Hills with only the occasional hamlet. From Winchcombe it is about 4 miles to Toddington, this a mainly flat route with occasional climbing.
